Dear friends and donors of the Posielek Family Foundation,<\/p>\n
As the year draws to a close, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your donations and your continued loyalty. It is only because of your support that we are able each year to transfer funds to our partner foundation, the CHANGE FOUNDATION, enabling it to carry out projects in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala focused on the education and training of children, adolescents, and young adults.<\/p>\n
We were especially pleased by the visit of Dr. Anto Maliekal and his wife Seena here in Germany this past May. They were able to meet friends and relatives, and we had the opportunity to speak in depth about the work of the CHANGE FOUNDATION.<\/p>\n
The most important project continues to be the awarding of scholarships to school pupils and university students from the lower social strata. In this way, these young people receive a solid education and gain access to the labor market and to decent earnings, enabling them not only to support themselves but also their families and friends. We consistently emphasize that students must apply personally and then submit regular reports on their progress. Once they have completed their studies and secured a good job, they repay a certain amount to the Foundation. Following the snowball principle, this makes it possible to support more and more young people.<\/p>\n
Another important pillar remains the \u201ctuition centers\u201d\u2014after-school tutoring programs in the slums of larger cities for young children of preschool and school age. Education helps combat child labor!!!<\/p>\n
